Our high-energy Sunday School class meets every Sunday during our church’s 1:30 p.m. service and welcomes children from walking toddler age through 11 years old.
Our vision is to help every child know Jesus, love His Word, worship Him with all their heart, and experience the presence and power of the Holy Ghost. We believe children are not too young to pray, praise, learn the truth, and begin a real walk with God.
First-time guests can expect a warm welcome and a lively class filled with skits, games, music, fun activities, and Bible-based lessons that children can understand and remember.
Facilitated by our background-checked staff, kids also enjoy snacks, creative crafts, exciting prizes, and plenty of opportunities to participate.
Everything we do is coordinated around one purpose: worshipping and knowing Jesus, and growing in His Word.
Journey into the book of Daniel for two unforgettable days designed to help children stand boldly for truth, trust God in every circumstance, and discover that they never have to live in fear when the Lord is with them.
VBS at ILC Riverside is a free, immersive family experience filled with food, games, crafts, theatrical Bible storytelling, high-energy praise, and Spirit-filled worship.
Children who register will be eligible to receive a NeeDoh Jellies toy while supplies last. Gifts will be distributed at VBS, so arrive early to check in and claim yours.

Children ages 0–12
Parents are welcome. Drop-off is available for children ages 5–12.
Our desire is to create a welcoming place where every child can worship Jesus freely, grow in the truth of God’s Word, and experience His presence for themselves.
We believe the promise of the Holy Ghost is for our children. Through teaching, prayer, praise, and immersive worship, we make room for kids to respond to God for themselves. We have witnessed children receive the Holy Ghost, become stronger in their faith, and experience the love, mercy, power, and presence of Jesus in a deeply personal way.
Every story, song, game, craft, and altar moment is intentionally connected to biblical truth. Our purpose is not simply to entertain children for an evening, but to help them know Jesus, understand His Word, respond to His presence, and begin living for Him right now.
This year, the fiery furnace and Daniel in the lions’ den become unforgettable lessons about courage, prayer, obedience, faithfulness, and trusting God without fear.
Each year, our VBS is uniquely created from what God has placed in our hearts and developed under His guidance. The theme, lessons, worship, environments, stage moments, and experience are customized specifically for ILC Riverside KIDS.
Detailed set design, costuming, lighting, sound, and modern production technology work together to transport children back to ancient Babylon and bring Daniel’s world to life before their eyes.
High-energy praise leads into focused worship where children are encouraged to pray, respond to God, and seek Him in Spirit and Truth.
Each day includes food, interactive games, hands-on crafts, team participation, and memorable moments.
No prepackaged program is simply dropped into place. Every element is prayerfully shaped for our children, our church, and the message God has placed in our hearts.
Parents and guardians are always welcome to remain for VBS and experience the worship, production, Bible teaching, and family atmosphere alongside their children.
Families dropping off children ages 5–12 will use our check-in system. The parent or guardian completing check-in will receive a text message approximately 30 minutes before the event ends so you can return for pickup. Please keep your phone available throughout the event in case our team needs to contact you.
Our coffee shop will be open with a delicious menu of handcrafted lattes, matcha drinks, and refreshing beverages available for purchase while you enjoy VBS.
VBS does not end on Saturday. All guests, parents, and families are warmly invited to return for our Sunday worship service on August 2 at 1:30 p.m.
During VBS, the children will learn a special song that they will sing together during the Sunday service. We would love for every child to participate and for your entire family to worship with us as we celebrate what the Lord has done throughout VBS.
